Caregivers

Caregivers Ministry

Caring for our congregation and others demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ. Galatians 6:2 states, “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ”.  Also, related to this, Mark 10:45 says: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Through our Caregivers ministry, we want to apply both Galatians 6:2 and Mark 10:45. Below are some examples of this ministry.

Through Caregivers we provide meals for those in need, transportation to doctor appointments, visiting the sick or shut-in, help with housecleaning, babysitting (emergency situations), help with moving (lifting boxes, etc.), help with yard work, snow removal (short term), technical assistance (computers, cell phones, smart TVs, etc.), home maintenance, and other services for those in our congregation who are sick, hospitalized, or have a need for assistance in a crisis.
