Youth Ministries

As the youth ministry of LCBC, we teach students that life is about Christ (Philippians 1:21). Our desire is to see students come to salvation in Jesus Christ and grow in how they obey Him, treasure Him, proclaim Him, and serve others for His glory. This is done through regular preaching, small groups, and discipleship relationships. We strive to walk with young people as they transition to adulthood, formulating their own spiritual convictions as they understand, apply, and delight in God’s Word. Our goal is to come alongside Christian parents who are called by God to “bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Eph. 6:1-4). Our Youth Group is currently available for all Middle and High School students, grades 6-12.

Wednesday Night Youth Group

We meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm. During our weekly meetings we have a time of fellowship, games, teaching, and small groups. The goal of these meetings are to form bonds within the Body of Christ, learn from the Word of God, and evaluate how we can apply it into our everyday lives.

Monthly Events

Once a month we offer an event outside of normal Youth Group meetings. We keep a balance of both fellowship events and service projects. These are great opportunities for students to spend time together, invite friends, and serve Christ.


Annual Events

One of the highlights of our year for our high school students is going to Ascend summer camp in southern Illinois. This is always a time of great spiritual growth through expository preaching and small group discussions. This is also a time of great fellowship and fun through group games, team sports, and lakefront activities.
